It’s Memorial Day in New Jersey, a weekend of fun and celebration . . . or maybe not?
Jane is in hospital surrounded by get well cards, flowers and teddies, trying to put together her scrambled memories from the night before. One minute she was at a party, having fun and enjoying the time with her friends and the next laying in a rosebush left for dead by a hit and run.
Jane knows two things: one, this was no accident even though everyone says it was and two, one of her friends is the cause of this and they are not happy with the result of the first try.
In my opinion Rosebush by Michele Jaffe was extremely well written and I couldn’t put it down until I found out the ending of the book. It had so many twists and turns that it would be a complete shock if any reader wasn't surprised by the ending. This book is extremely mysterious and exiting, also I like that it has a good amount of girl-power in it but I’m not saying guys wouldn’t enjoy it either. I also think that this book is best suited for young adults over the age of 14+ because some of the things inside it might not be suitable for people under the age of 14.
Overall I recommend this book to people that like mystery also if people have read and enjoyed the Pretty Little Liars novels they would enjoy this book too.
