This is a really exciting, well written book. I found that it is one of those I just can't put it down kind of book.
Allie, the main character, is a firey haired teenage girl, who I'm sure most people can relate to in some way or another.
After being arrested, again, her parents send her away to boarding school, more specifically, Cimmeria Academy.
Allie soon arrives and is expecting to hate her new school, but soon turns out she has never enjoyed school so much. She quickly makes lots of new friends. She soon finds most of them are keeping a secret, but no-one will tell her about it.
Trouble starts brewing and it all goes horribly wrong….
This book is perfect for those who love thriller/mystery type books!
A really enjoyable read. I really connected with the main character, Allie, from the start. The story was funny, sad, happy and exciting. I didn’t want to put the book down and I was sad when I came to the end of the story! I think that this story is great for teenagers and I loved the fact that the ‘secret’ was not what I first expected!
I've just finished reading Night School by C.J. Daugherty and I absolutely loved the book. As soon as I picked it up I was hooked, I was more interested in finishing the book than opening my Christmas presents. The only negative thing about the book is that it stopped at 454 pages and I don't know if there will be a sequel. I'm definitely giving this book a special spot on my bookshelf beside my favourite books. I can't wait to hear more from Allie!
[Note from Team Atom – there definitely will be a sequel!]
